Carlingford's Local Activities:

Adventure:
Carlingford Sailing Club offers sailing courses suitable for all levels and abilities. Equipment for both dinghy sailing and cruiser sailing is available for hire. The Sailing School is an ISA recognized teaching establishment.

Recreation:
Greenore Golf Club has an 18 hole golf course just a short drive from Carlingford village. Ravensdale Equestrian Centre has both an indoor and outdoor arena and offers guided treks through Ravensdale forest. Carlingford Lough also offers itself as a beautiful area for kayaking.
Carlingford village also offers a number of cosy bars and excellent restaurants.

Heritage Tours and Mountain Walking:
Carlingford Heritage Centre organises guided history tours of carlingford. The tours can be booked at the tourist office. The Cooley Mountains and forest paths offer a wide range of walking activities in carlingford.
